Shannon’s report card:
Other end of school memorabilia:
Mother’s Day Tea in Mrs. Ewing’s Kinder class. Shannon learned how to give a great massage which I get to benefit from all the time now! I believe the last picture shown here was done at the beginning of the school year, but provided with all the mother’s day presents.
This was not mother’s day, but obviously created in class:
Plus a sweet note for me when I was feeling bad:
Science Journal:
Inquiry Journal:
Writing Journal:
Misc. stuff Shannon did in class:
Book Shannon wrote about animals:
Another book “A Kiss for a Hug”
More books – the first pic is of the collection. (Mrs. Ewing ran out of staples, so Shannon had to start gluing her books. It worked pretty well, but not very clean looking. I took some of these books apart for easier pictures.)
Three of the books in the pic above:
This particular book seemed to take on a life of it’s own. Starting with rainbows, it progressed to a number of other topics. I guess what started as a rainbow book turned into a variable topic chapter book!
I left this book intact since it was stapled nicely and had pictures – she obviously spent some time on it.
Cute book on rainbow – glued so I took it apart.
Reading level? Not sure….
Sampling of homework and in-class worksheets:
Lunch notes from throughout the school year (one of them Shannon wrote herself because we did not have time!):
