Shannon started writing books this year (2014 – 5 yrs old), so prolifically that I had to start quizzing her on spelling. I knew she would get some of these incorrectly spelled words stuck in her head & have a hard time learning the correct way, otherwise. The difference in her spelling & handwriting in just a month’s time was incredible. I’ll show a sample at the end of this post.
This particular piece spurred me to action because she actually wrote a series! If you read it phonetically, you should be able to understand the story.
